Most agencies make you book a call before they’ll name a number. I’d rather you know up front. Pay monthly with nothing big upfront, or pay once and own it outright. Or tell me what you need and I’ll quote it straight.

No big upfront build fee. 12-month term with updates included, then it drops to $59/mo and the site is yours.

You’ve got options, and some of them cost less. Here’s what you’re actually choosing between.
Wix or Squarespace. Cheap, but you’re the designer, writer, photographer and SEO person.
A solid site and edits. Usually no photography, lead capture or SEO, and the site goes offline if you cancel.
or $3,500–$6,500 once
Agency-level custom work, real local SEO, social content, and pro photography, from one person you can actually call. Either way, the site ends up yours.
Upfront, often quote-only, plus a separate care plan. You may work with a different person at each stage.

Same site, same work. The only difference is how you’d rather pay for it.
12-month term. No big build fee; hosting, updates and a monthly results report are included the whole time.
Need to cancel early? Pay off the rest of the build (your remaining months, minus the $59/mo hosting & updates you won’t be using) and the site is yours.
After month 12: your price drops to my regular $59/mo hosting & updates plan, or $29/mo for hosting only.
The site is yours. Want to move it somewhere else? Take it, free. No buyout fee. (Depending on where it goes, some features may need reworking on the new host.)
You always keep your domain, your photos and your content.
A simple project agreement. 50% to start, 50% at launch, with no 12-month term.
It’s yours at launch. You get training and a written how-to guide, so you can host it anywhere and update it yourself.
Optional hosting: $29/mo, and I keep it online and secure. $59/mo adds small content changes, and covers sites with a blog or other editable content.
Need bigger changes later? New pages or redesigns are quoted per project.
About 4 weeks for most sites; up to 6 when there’s a photo shoot or a lot of content to gather.
I take a close look at your current site, your Google Business Profile and how you show up in local search. Then we talk through what’s working, what isn’t, and which plan fits.
We map who your customers are and what they need to see before they call you. Then I plan every page, what goes on it, and the photos or copy we’ll need.
I design your homepage first, with up to 3 rounds of revisions to get it right, then build the rest. Brand Builder photo and video shoots happen here.
We go live, and I train you to run it with a written how-to guide. On a monthly or hosting plan, I keep it online, secure and up to date.

Everything I do is available on its own. Plans are the best value, but a single project is never a problem.
A single landing page for a new business, event or promotion. Upgrade within 6 months and the full price counts toward your plan.
A custom multi-page site outside the plans, handed over for you to run.
Stuck on what to say? I write your pages in your voice, built to rank in local search.
Newsletter sign-up on your site, your email list set up, and a welcome email that goes out automatically.
A half-day commercial shoot at your business: your space, your team and your work, delivered as edited, web-ready images you own.
A 60–90 second brand video for your homepage and socials, plus short vertical cuts for Reels and TikTok.
Google Business Profile cleaned up and optimized, key directory listings fixed, and on-page SEO tuned on your existing site.
Google or Meta campaigns built and tracked properly. Need it run month to month? See ads management.
I run and tune your Google or Meta ads every month, with a monthly results report. Ad spend is billed to you directly by the platforms.
Your profiles cleaned up to match your website, a 90-day posting plan, a simple guide to what and when to post, and a one-hour session to get you rolling.
Two hours one-on-one, working on your own accounts. I’ll show you what to post, how to make it look good, and how to turn followers into customers.
I plan, write and post on two platforms and reply to comments and messages, using real photos and video from a monthly (1 hour) shoot at your business.
Straight answers to what local business owners ask the most, from cost and timelines to who owns what.
Tell me about your business and I’ll point you to the right one, or tell you if you don’t need a plan at all.
Help me choose →A custom small business website from me starts at $3,500 one-time or $350/mo. Brand Builder, which adds a professional photo and video shoot, is $6,500 or $650/mo. Online stores add $2,500. For comparison, agencies in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County typically charge $2,900 to $12,000+ upfront, often plus a separate care plan.
Go monthly if you’d rather keep cash in the business and never think about hosting or updates; it’s all included. Pay once if you want to own the site outright with no 12-month term, then run it yourself or have me host it for $29/mo ($59/mo with small updates). On Foundation, a year of monthly payments costs about the same as paying once plus a year of my $59/mo plan, so monthly is basically 0% financing.
There’s no big upfront build fee, so the cost of designing and building your site is spread across the first year. Local SEO also takes months to really pay off, and twelve months gives it room to work. After that, your bill drops to $59/mo and the site is yours to keep or move.
Yes. Pay once and the site is yours at launch. On a monthly plan, it’s yours after month 12, or sooner if you pay off the rest of the build. Your domain is registered in your name, and every photo and video I take is yours once the project is paid for, delivered digitally. If you move to another host, some features may need reworking depending on where it goes.
You pay off the rest of the build, and the site is yours. That’s your remaining months minus the $59/mo hosting and updates you won’t be using. For example, cancel Foundation at month 10 and you owe 2 × $291 = $582. Your site doesn’t get taken offline, and there are no surprise fees.
Those plans are a good deal for a basic site. Mine include real local SEO work, Google Business Profile setup and a quote form from day one, and from Brand Builder up, a professional photo shoot with short videos. And after year one the site is yours, not something you lose if you cancel. You’re paying for a site that brings in customers, not just one that exists.
Most sites launch in 4 to 6 weeks once I have your content and photos. Week 1 is planning, weeks 2 to 4 are design and build, and we launch by week 4 to 6. Sites with a photo shoot or a lot of content land closer to 6 weeks.
Your logo, the basics about your business, any photos you’d like to use, and access to your domain. In week 1, I’ll tell you exactly what I need. Don’t have copy or photos? I can write your pages for $150 per page and photograph your business from $750, and the shoot is already included in Brand Builder.
Every plan includes local SEO setup and Google Business Profile optimization, so you can show up when people nearby search for what you do. Rankings usually take a few months and depend on your competition, so no honest designer can promise you the #1 spot. On a monthly or $59/mo plan, you’ll see your calls, form fills and rankings in a monthly report. Brand Builder adds advanced local SEO, and Scale Partner includes ongoing SEO.
Yes, most of my clients already have a site. I look at what’s working, keep what already ranks on Google, and rebuild the rest as a faster, mobile-first site, with redirects so you don’t lose search traffic. Redesigns are priced the same as new builds: from $3,500 or $350/mo.
On a monthly plan, or a one-time build with the $59/mo hosting and updates plan, just send it to me and I’ll handle it. On Brand Builder and up, or Foundation with the CMS add-on, you can also update things like events, menus or news yourself, no code required.
Stores run on Shopify, which bills you directly, so you always see exactly what you pay: from $29/mo on yearly billing, plus standard card processing. If you want me to handle product updates, sales and keeping your store apps running, my store care plan is $89/mo. For a handful of simple products, I may suggest a lighter setup instead.
No. The retainer covers my time running your ads, SEO, shoots, social media, and strategy. Google, Meta, YouTube and TikTok bill your ad budget directly to your own accounts, so you always see exactly where it goes.
Either one. Brand Builder includes a Social Starter Plan to get you going, and Scale Partner includes full management. Not on a plan? I offer one-on-one coaching on your own accounts, or I can run it for you, using real photos and video of your business instead of templates.
Yes. Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits get 20% off any plan or project. The discount applies to my work, not to ad spend, Shopify or other platform fees.
Local businesses from Paso Robles to Santa Barbara are my focus, including San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach and Santa Maria, and I can shoot on-site for them. I take remote clients too; photography outside the area is quoted separately.
